This spiking clinic will focus on developing players’ technique, in terms of proper arm swing and footwork mechanics to attack the ball, whether the set is good or bad, on or off the net. You will ultimately leave feeling more confident in your offensive capabilities at the end. This clinic will also focus on developing players’ technique, in terms of proper platform and footwork mechanics to pass the ball to the setter.

The groups will be split accordingly. Numerous training tools and strategies will be used to learn and refine the game’s skills.

Clinics will be run by Coaches: Cara Swayze & Mike Strahan

Deland Family YMCA June 21st, 2025. Ages 8 to 12 from 1pm to 2:30pm. Ages 13 to 17 from 2:30pm to 4pm. 

Port Orange Family YMCA July 5th, 2025. Ages 8 to 12 from 9:30am to 11am. Ages 13 to 17 from 8am to 9:30am.
